Alles leuchtet grell

My favourite band asked the fans to choose their favourite lyrics from the new album Grell and handwrite them. I went a step further and decided to illustrate the text as well, since I've always wanted to draw something like this anyway.

Admittedly, my handwriting isn't the prettiest thing ever, but it's /mine/ and I wanted to use it instead of some fancy font. I think it conveys the message better.
The lyrics are:
Die graue Welt die stumpf und hässlich ist
leuchtet wieder grell
which means
The gray world, dull and ugly
starts shining dazzlingly bright again

I guess the drawing is pretty self-explanatory, so I'll just copy-paste my comment from tumblr:
At first, after I’d read about #KPGRELLText, I couldn’t decide which lyrics to choose- there are a lot of parts which are amazing, and for very different reasons.
In the end I settled for something that I’ve wanted to draw for a while now. Grell may not be my absolute favourite song from the album, but I really like its message, and coincidentally, it was released when I was struggling with a few things in my life. I remember a week back in December when the first thing I did every morning after waking up was putting on my headphones and playing Grell on repeat. It always managed to put a smile on my face, even if I was running on 3 hours of sleep and my hands were shaking so bad I couldn’t hold up a mug of tea.
I think this is the one of the things that only good music can do- it can make you feel a little better no matter how bad the situation is. It doesn’t solve your problems, but it helps to cope with them and gives you motivation to go on.
